I semi-regularly write new Posts.
Alternatively, if I read a great article elsewhere I will re-post it here too.
(albeit, often after some significant editing to shorten it, or to just pick up on a relevant concept)
The full original article should be hyper-linked through its title.
Recently I have been more an aggregator of other writers/articles, than writing my own stuff.
However the original objective still remains: to write a manifesto for change.
So, what would you change, what direction would you go, if you were leading a Revolution?
Actually, seeing as this is my Blog, what would I change?
I have quite a lot of ideas, so I guess now it is about actually getting around to writing them down – and opening them up for criticism.
Some of them are just brilliant and above criticism… others are rather more speculative, and a few are just blue-sky pondering. I’ll leave you to figure out which is which. LoL
Below is a list of topics and subjects, so I have a structure and agenda to write to. I will work towards writing a Post entry for each of them, then linking them back to this page for easy reference.
It all depends on whether I am in a writing mood, and how busy the rest of my life is.
This page will change and be amended as I write articles and evolve my thinking.
If you have a particular interest in any topic, feel free to drop me a line and I will write something on it and open it up for debate.
Things to change:
Government – constitution, legislature, representatives, leadership, representation.
Government – Civil service, departments, responsibilities, limits
Local govt. –
Foreign relations –
Other – ?
And in conclusion, my favourite blue-sky concept: the Calendar
Thats the basic List as I can think of them at the moment. Many of these will cross over of course, so there will be doubling up on some subjects – the Law in particular.
Particularly as the whole essence of the State is how the Legal and Public interact with the Social and the Private.
Revolution is about Politics, Politics is about the State, and the State is intrinsically interrelated with its Laws.
My concept for a Revolution is about changing the State and how the State would interact and intrude on your life… Ideally, for the better.
