I haven’t posted anything in a fair while – I ran out of enthusiasm.
A recent poll in a National Newspaper found that 52% thought that the country was headed in the correct direction (and 48% didn’t).
That then continues to closely match the results from the last General Election. An electorate pretty evenly split, a do-nothing result
But even then, split between Tweedle Dum and Tweedle Dee.
At this rate, nothing is going to change in my lifetime.
The world is content to shuffle along in its old familiar corrupted style.
The discontent, numbers, energy and imagination for Revolution are sadly lacking.
There hasn’t been any demand or support for ‘raising the banner, or calling from the barricades’ – so I haven’t been.
I have been getting on with my own life and making do the best I can in my own small corner.
On the other hand, there have been a number of other people who have written some pretty good articles.
So I have collected together a bunch, and then redacted and edited them – as I do.
The following Posts are things I could have said, but didn’t.
Maybe it will inspire me to put my shoulder to the grind stone again.
