Been A While

To anyone who might actually have read my blog on semi regular basis…

It has been a while since I last Posted anything.

Mostly that has been because the-powers-that-be have to date successfully managed to kick the can further down the road and avoided any sort of systemic collapse – at least in the West.  The Middle East and North Africa (MENA) are a bit of a different story, but hey we don’t live there so I guess that doesn’t materially matter does it.

In the face of the status quo continuing as usual I really wasn’t in the mood to keep writing a whole lot of stuff about what to do in the event of something that wasn’t happening… and may not ever happen…

Also I had other better things to do, such as get on with my life and making a living.  So that is what I have been doing for a while. Actually, what I would have been doing anyway, if the world hadn’t been looking like falling into a massive Depression.

So how is that prognosis looking currently?

I gotta say, as good a chance as ever, just not really imminently. And who knows how long the wizards can keep the game going and the music playing. I decided I wasn’t going to prophesize or prognosticate. If it happens it happens. There is such a thing as getting too far ahead of yourself – and of being completely wrong. So cross your bridges if and when you come to them.

On the other hand, while I might just be in my own little bearish bubble, I have also got to think that the forces stacking up against a happy outcome are really getting serious… right about now.

It is kind of weird when what you anticipate and look forward to is disaster.  That probably isn’t what you would call an entirely healthy outlook. But hey, everyone has got their kink, right?  LOL.

So, I have been taking a sabbatical on the Blog.  It’s not that I am no longer interested. And I have a whole bunch of half done blog-posts stacked up waiting to be finished. But I just need some motivation to get onto them.

Maybe some major rioting in Greece, Italy, Ireland, Spain or Portugal. Hell, even Britain France and Germany, haha. If we see a few governments start to collapse then we could have something to really write about.

In the meantime, the regular 9-5 needs to get done.

I do have several subjects I would like to post articles on, and will try to do them over the next couple of days. Fingers crossed.
